Come under the category of 'tools I didn't know I needed until I saw them'.
The ability to run files is nice, but it would be good to have more control. For example, if I run a dvr-ms file it would be nice to be able to play it sometimes and convert it to wmv other times. |

I could allow you to define command lines for each extension (.wmv, .dvr-ms, etc). There would be a special option to hand the file over to Windows (like it does now). Running a file would look up the definitions and:- If there is just one definition, use it
- If more than one, present the options and allow you to choose one
- If there are no definitions, hand the file over to Windows as now
Would that work for you?
